I love my mission. There are truly miracles every week. Last Monday night, a man asked us for the address of the church. That was the first thing he did. That's it. Ridiculous. Then he said he'd come... He didn't, but still! He's coming next week for sure. Oh, and he's making us dinner on Thursday. He's Moroccan so I'm SUPER excited. :)
Oh PS, we were told in Zone Conf last week that our investigators names cannot be posted on the internet. So...

We ran into some road blocks with our investigators... Trying to get them worked out. Please, do member missionary work! If the members here would do it, our jobs would be so much easier!

You're all incredible! God loves us all SO MUCH. And Christ died for EVERYONE. That's so unfathomable. And amazing!

Love!

The week I ALMOST visited the Ark

Well, another week past! I loved this week. I've learned SO MUCH. Really though, that's every week!
List time, as per usual. I'll probably figure this emailing thing out like the week before I leave.
Can't remember if I talked about our blind investigator, but she just walked into church a couple of weeks ago and told us she'd found the church on the internet, had been praying to see if it was true, and wanted to be baptized. Miracles, folks. Unfortunately, she's having trouble with the decision that the Ward Council made that she can't bring her seeing eye dog to church due to allergies from the other members... We're still meeting with her, and she's coming with us to the Young Adult service in Gouda next week!
The investigator from the Ivory Coast is getting baptized the 30th!
I'm training Sister Chelsea Elting from Idaho Falls. She's an amazing missionary - she should be training me! Training is super humbling... I feel so blessed to have the opportunity!
I hope all is well with y'all! I love missionary work, and all of you!

We all know God listens to Coldplay

Ah, email time. The time when I forget everything that happened during the week and go into panic mode because there's not enough time in the world for me to explain how much has happened, and how much I love missionary work! Haha.
I decided I'd better just start keeping these short. The work is moving forward! I found out on Sunday that I'm TRAINING. On my second transfer. Sooooo... Tomorrow. I will go to Leiden, and I will get a greenie, and a greenie will train another greenie. Dus.
We now have a legit baptismal date with  a quiet man from the Ivory Coast. He's suuuuper awesome. And he WILL be baptized on the 30th of this month, punt. :) He's almost quit smoking! Down to one every other day.
Sister Townsend is trying not to get trunky! I try to keep her on her toes. ;) She leaves in 4 weeks... I don't know what I'll do without her! We have super-companionship-unity. We say the same thing at the same time. A lot. And we just... Work. I love that woman. Also, her taste in music. There was a parade that went by our house the other night and a band played Boston's "Carry on my Wayward Son".... We jammed. Yup. Good times. :)
Wellll... That's probably good for today. Gotta go email the fam!
Reading assignment for this week is Exodus 3. Moses is awesome. Punt.
Love!

All right jongens!

Quickly - (Again, sorry. Happens every week. I'm gonna write something of substance at some point.)
Four new investigators this week! One is blind and she's basically already converted... Just needs to be taught and baptized. Super neat. :)
Read Alma 7! It's my chapter of the week.
Be SO happy for American cigarette smoke. European kind is much worse.
I find out if I'm training next Sunday! Super crazy. We think we'll probably be in a threesome because Sister Townsend leaves the 10th of July!
We biked 36 km (about 22 miles) on Friday to go to a dinner appointment. I'm serious right here. Also, there were lots of hills. Haha. :)
Today I'm dressed like a 60's housewife. Dutch class. Or something like that!
The work is going forth, I know that for sure. Also, you can help SO MUCH. Missionaries love when members help. Invite them over for dinner and let them practice lessons... Go on joint teach... Give them referrals... Do it. :)
Love!
